Day 1: Huaraz - Driving to Pitec - Quebrada Quilcayhuanca Trekking to the Base Camp (4100 m)
Day 2: Base Camp - Nevado Maparaju Summit (5326 m) - Base Camp
Day 3: Base Camp - Trekking via Quebrada Quilcayhuanca - Return to Huaraz
Day 1: Huaraz - Driving to Pitec - Quebrada Quilcayhuanca Trekking to the Base Camp (4100 m)
After breakfast in the city of Huaraz we moved to the east side at 8:00 a.m. in private transport to Pitec where the walk 5 to 6 hours starts about up to Base Camp in the Valley Cayesh (4250 m). Overnight Camp (-/L/D)
Day 2: Base Camp - Nevado Maparaju Summit (5326 m) - Base Camp
We climb in the early at 3:00 am to reach the Summit of Nevado Maparaju (5326 m) above sea level, from the top you have a list view of the mountains, lakes, and part of the gorge of Conchucos after appreciate these beautiful landscapes return to base camp (4250 m) above sea level crossing Cayesh. Day 3: Base Camp - Trekking via Quebrada Quilcayhuanca - Return to Huaraz
Return Trekking down Quebrada Cayesh crossing via Quebrada Quilcayhuanca, we will walk about 5 to 6 hours approx. Until Pitec place where we expect transport to lead to the city of Huaraz. Overnight Hotel (B/L/-)
